If we are taking our dog with us, I had to hold our little 10Lbs Silky dog. He is only little however, felt much heavy if I had to hold him for more than 1hour. We are planing to make a long road trip to California and thought it would be good chance to try this seat. We made few trial trips of 5 - 10 miles with this new Car Seat, first he wanted to come and jump into my arm but he is getting used to being independent and found out that he has better view of the outside world.
