Carrier was acceptable for Jet Blue and Us Airways, even on a smaller short hop jet. It seemed very small for our 10lb dog, but she seemed comfortable during the cross country trip and slept most of the time. I like the top and side openings and the bottom was supportive. It was easy to carry through the airport as well. Most people didn't even realize we had a dog at first. The company we bought it from was not able to be contacted and there was no rush option. They didn't send it out until 2 days after they said they would, but luckily it got to us in time. I had ordered a little more than a week before our trip. Just plan ahead to order.
