Although the specifications say the Ithaka 5 is good for dogs up to 89 pounds(which is consistent with the manufacturer's website) I concur with the other reviewers that this is only suitable for a small to medium sized dog. I'm using this crate for short car trips (under 30 minutes) and for keeping my dog crated during agility class. He's a 50 pound border collie and, while suitable for these short durations, would not even come close to being big enough for keeping him crated for longer than 15 - 30 minutes. There is just enough room for him to stand, sit, lie down, and turn around, but it is definitely a snug fit.
