I have a dachshund mix. He's 2 and about 24 lbs.
I purchased the oversized Snoozer car seat and it really has word out great for Toby. Before driving in the car he couldn't look out which he likes to do and he can now with the car seat. He is a medium size dog so this sizes works out well. I looked at other car seats on line, I found not a lot of brands gave what size dog / weight each size would be appropriate and they had pictures of smaller dogs in their ads. I was also wonder if I got a one of these seats will Toby be able to look out as some of the ad just showed the dog in the seat and I was looking and guessing how high the seat was relative to the window of the car. Snoozer oversized worked out for us. Toby can look out or curl up with room. The material is nice and soft and the quilting give it a nice looking detail...not something that's plastic cheap looking. It' easy to install in the car so if need to take out it's very simple. With the cushioning and halter attached I feel he's safe in the car.
