I got this two months ago for my 5lb dog. I needed something to carry him in for a vacation that included air travel. I have been impressed with how well designed and constructed it is--very high quality. The inside removable floor and wall pads are covered with vinyl so I covered them in cotton jersey so that my dog wouldn't be pressed up against so much vinyl. This backpack fits him perfectly & it must be comfortable because he likes to be in it! It was so easy to carry him through the airport while having both hands free to deal with my luggage & know that he was comfortable & secure in there. The best thing about it is that the mesh windows providing ventilation are one-way viewing -- so that my dog can see out, but he cannot be seen.
